A Step Towards a Better Tomorrow
Since March 2020, Let’s Tree Wilmot, a community initiative, provides volunteers, education, and expertise to enhance the trees and forest ecosystems in Wilmot Township. Our goals are:
- To increase the tree cover in the Township of Wilmot
- To educate residents about the environmental and human benefits of planting and maintaining trees
- To engage the Wilmot residents of all ages in restoring and caring for the natural environment
Tree Planting!
Saturday, May 2nd, 9:00 am – 12 noon at Bridge Street Wetlands. Let’s Tree Wilmot is planting approximately 225 trees around a new wetlands in a floodplain along the Nith River.
