A Step Towards a Better Tomorrow
Since March 2020, Let’s Tree Wilmot, a community initiative, provides volunteers, education, and expertise to enhance the trees and forest ecosystems in Wilmot Township. Our goals are:
- To increase the tree cover in the Township of Wilmot
- To educate residents about the environmental and human benefits of planting and maintaining trees
- To engage the Wilmot residents of all ages in restoring and caring for the natural environment

Saturday, May 23rd, 9:00 am – 12 noon Second Planting – Mannheim “Carolinian Corner”
Let’s Tree Wilmot is partnering with the Township in a new special project. A two hectare site at the edge of Mannheim will become wooded area with a trail system. The trees we are planting here will feature species from the Carolinian forest zone.
