About LTW
A Step Towards a Better Tomorrow
Since March 2020, Let’s Tree Wilmot, a community initiative, provides volunteers, education, and expertise to enhance the trees and forest ecosystems in Wilmot Township. Our goals are:
- To increase the tree cover in the Township of Wilmot
- To educate residents about the environmental and human benefits of planting and maintaining trees
- To engage the Wilmot residents of all ages in restoring and caring for the natural environment
On Sunday, March 30th
Tree Pruning with Mike Yost
Mike Yost, Certified Arborist, will cover all aspects of tree pruning from equipment required, safety tips, when to prune, and pruning techniques for various tree species (no fruit trees).
The first part is an indoor class and then we go outside to practice techniques on the trees. Location: Mannheim Community Center, 1467 Mannheim Rd. Go to event page for details and registration. 1:30 – 3:30 pm.
